RUNNER INFORMATION / 2027
Know the loop.
Own your hour.
Everything you need to understand the race and prepare for your time at Findlay Reservoir.
01 / THE FORMAT
Run. Reset.
Repeat.
Runners start a 4.3-mile yard at the top of every hour. Finish it within the hour, return to the corral, and start the next one when the whistle blows.
The race continues until one runner completes a yard alone. Everyone else is recorded as a DNF under backyard ultra scoring. If nobody completes one more yard than the rest, there is no winner.
The current registration listing says the winner earns a Bronze Ticket invitation opportunity.
02 / THE COURSE
Nothing to hide
behind.
The course circles the Findlay Reservoir on a flat, fine-gravel path. The 2027 race listing describes zero elevation gain, no mud, and no roots.
